As an independent practitioner, each therapist determines his or her own fees. Please discuss the specific fees with your therapist. If you are interested in reduced fees, you may be able to receive treatment from an Intern or Extern under the direct supervision of one of our experienced, licensed clinicians. You may contact the Intern or Extern directly to determine if this would be an appropriate option for you.
Insurance is accepted by most providers at the Tampa Bay Center for Relational Psychology. Since we are independent, each therapist belongs to different insurance panels. Please discuss insurance coverage with your intended therapist. Some of our providers also accept clients with no insurance and some use a sliding scale for payment.
The task of finding the right therapist can feel quite daunting! You want someone with excellent skills and ethics. You also want to find a therapist you can trust, with whom you feel comfortable. We take some of the work out of the process for you. Every therapist at the Tampa Bay Center for Relational Psychology has been selected because of their great training, skills, and expertise. When you ask, “can you help me?,” you can expect them to answer honestly or help you find alternatives if they are not the right person to assist you. Maintaining your trust is of the utmost importance to our team. Feel free to ask for a brief phone consultation so you can get a sense of the “fit” and your comfort. With a large pool of therapists, we can often accommodate your need to be seen quickly. We welcome your call, so please don’t delay getting the help you need.
Services are available by appointment on weekdays. Some evening appointments are also available.
Because therapy is an individualized process, your therapist will need to gather some information from you before being able to answer that question. Your preferences about goals and direction are also important to answering that question. We suggest that the first few sessions serve as an opportunity to gather information, become acquainted and formulate a plan together. A good time to ask your therapist about length of treatment is during the first few sessions.
More information about the training and approach for each clinician is available on the Meet Us page. You may also contact the therapist directly to discuss an approach that would be right for you and the dilemmas you are facing.
