Welcome! I am so happy you are here. My name is Molly Wilson, and I provide individual therapy at TBCRP. I have a passion for working with adolescent and adult individuals who experience depression, anxiety, life adjustment difficulties, women’s issues, stress management, and relationship problems.

Utilizing an integrated approach, I combine interpersonal, emotion-focused, and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help you reach your purpose. I believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is fundamental for growth. As a therapist, it is important for me to work collaboratively with my clients to identify emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. My therapeutic style is nonjudgmental, empowering, and warm while encouraging you to be the best version of yourself. I act from a supportive stance while challenging my clients to make the changes they need to heal and reach their goals. My objective as a therapist is to create a safe and open environment for all clients. I look forward to building a relationship with you and participating in your journey to achieve fulfillment and joy. Please reach out for more information and to see if I would best fit your therapy needs.

Emotional Difficulties

Emotional struggles can manifest in many ways, from overwhelming sadness and anxiety to feeling stuck or disconnected. Therapy provides a supportive space where you can explore these feelings without judgment and work towards understanding and healing. In treatment, we will collaborate to identify the roots of your emotional challenges. This process involves discussing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe environment. Together, we will unravel patterns of thinking and behavior that may be contributing to your distress.

Life Adjustments

Life adjustment difficulties can arise when we face significant changes or challenges that disrupt our sense of stability and well-being. Whether it is a significant life transition, such as moving to a new city, starting a new job, going through a relationship change, or experiencing loss, these adjustments can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain. In therapy, we will work together to identify the specific challenges you are facing and the feelings they evoke. Through open dialogue and therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs, you will learn effective skills to manage stress, cope with uncertainty, and make decisions that align with your values and goals. Adjusting to life changes takes time and effort, and therapy provides a valuable space to navigate this process with support and compassion.

Women’s Issues

Women are facing life-changing challenges now more than ever, including but not limited to relationships, self-esteem, body image, reproductive health, career pressures, caregiving roles, and societal expectations. Whether you are navigating complex relationships, struggling with work-life balance, coping with reproductive health issues, or dealing with the impacts of societal norms and expectations, therapy offers a supportive and empowering space to explore these issues with empathy and understanding.

Stress Management

Stress is a natural response to challenging situations, but when it becomes overwhelming or chronic, it can negatively affect your physical health, emotions, relationships, and overall well-being. In therapy, we work together to identify the sources of your stress and explore how they affect your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This process involves gaining insight into your personal triggers and stressors, whether they stem from work, relationships, financial concerns, health issues, or other life challenges. A primary goal of stress management therapy is to teach you practical skills to effectively cope with stressors. These skills may include relaxation techniques, mindfulness practices, time management strategies, assertiveness training, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to challenge negative thought patterns. If you are experiencing overwhelming stress or issues that affect your quality of life, seeking therapy is a proactive step towards improving your well-being.

Relationship problems

Whether you seek support to strengthen a partnership, improve family dynamics or communication skills, or navigate conflicts with friends or colleagues, therapy offers a safe space to explore these issues with guidance and support. In therapy, we begin by identifying the specific problems or patterns causing distress within your relationships. This process involves exploring and processing your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors within the context of the relationship dynamics. By gaining insight into these factors, you can begin to understand the root causes of conflicts and challenges. Together, we can work towards fostering healthier, more fulfilling relationships based on understanding, communication, and mutual respect.
