Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you are looking to rejoin therapy, welcome! Finding the right therapist can take time and be difficult. It’s important that you feel understood, cared for, and connected with your therapist and I hope the information on my page simplifies this process and helps you determine if I would be a good fit for you. I specialize in working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, relationship difficulties, and general life stressors. My goal is to help people not only reduce their distress but also feel empowered to live the life they want to live. I have expertise in helping people take a closer look at how their thoughts and feelings impact their life, process painful memories and situations, address boundaries and communication in their relationships, and become more comfortable facing stressful, anxiety-provoking situations. I rely on my extensive training in evidence-based practices as well as my clients’ needs and goals to guide our work. My approach is warm and collaborative and I highly value serving a diverse array of clients from varying demographic backgrounds. Therapy is a place for self-discovery and skill building and I look forward to helping you through the process. While a big part of therapy will focus on tackling the areas you are struggling with, we will also work on enhancing your strengths and building resilience. By the end of our time together, my hope is that you feel better about yourself and your life and feel confident in your ability to handle future obstacles.
