Thank you for taking the time to visit my webpage and learn more about my practice and treatment. I am passionate and motivated to help individuals, couples, and families identify the new skills and insights necessary to make and sustain changes to improve their lives and relationships with one another. My approach to treatment is collaborative and integrative and includes evidence-based treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, exposure and response prevention, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy and Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy. Collaboratively, we will develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs, strengths and preferences.

Over the past 10 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including inpatient crisis stabilization, community mental health, a university-based anxiety disorders clinic, and private practice settings. I have experience working with clients who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety such as social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety. I have also worked with clients in early recovery from substance use, individual survivors of past trauma, and those struggling with symptoms of depression. I have specialized training in both Emotionally Focused and Gottman Method Couple’s Therapies and enjoy working with couples wishing to re-build connection and intimacy in their relationship and improve their ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve with one another

My doctoral internship was completed at an American Psychological Association Accredited program – Riverbend Community Mental Health Center in Concord, New Hampshire. There, I received specialty training and supervision in providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy and co-led adolescent multi-family skills training groups, and worked with adolescents and families. I completed my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Tampa. Prior to returning to school to pursue my doctoral degree, I completed my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Psychology from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL.
